One question though, is there a tool that helps to merge the palettes of several maps or sprites together ? I need this mainly for sprites, but I guess I’ll need it for maps too soon.
Well, grit does and this editor actually combines and quantizes palettes for maps when exporting via grit so as long as the palettes are close in a single export unit you should be fine. I am not 100% sure about grit but am going to do some tutorials on it next week.
